Candidates are advised to check their data carefully and report Data entry Errors/Omissions (if any) to the Directorate of Admission on prescribed “Query Form” for rectification. Query Forms are available at the Directorate of Admissions. Only genuine claims will be accepted and NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE in sequence of choices of disciplines already offered by candidates, in their application forms will be accepted.

Last date for receipt of claims for correction of data entry errors is 17.08.11 upto 2.00 p.m. (PST). No request will be entertained after the due date.

CRITERIA FOR MARKS DEDUCTIONS

1. TEN (10) MARKS ARE DEDUCTED FOR EACH ADDITIONAL ATTEMPT IN F.SC. PART-1 OR PART-II.

2. TEN (10) MARKS ARE DEDUCTED FOR IMPROVEMENT OF DIVISION/MARKS.

3. TEN (10) MARKS ARE DEDUCTED FOR APPEARING IN MATHEMATICS AS ADDITIONAL SUBJECT

CAMPUSES

With a modest beginning in 1952 as a “constituent” college of Peshawar University, the NWFP UET was born in 1980. Since then, three satellite campuses in Abbottabad, Bannu and Mardan have been established. However, Peshawar Campus remains the central nucleus of the University, keeping everything moving along the correct path.

ABBOTTABAD CAMPUS

The Chancellor, NWFP University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar inaugurated Abbottabad Campus in October, 2002, in old premises of Ayub Medical College. The city of Abbottabad gained fame as being the city of schools and colleges. Due to a pleasant climate, people from all parts of country prefer to send their children to study in reputed educational institutions of Abbottabad, like Army Burn Hall, Abbottabad Public School, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology etc.
In addition, five medical colleges in the city also attract students. Establishment of campus of NWFP UET in Abbottabad has not only addressed a longstanding public demand, but also enhanced the city's image as a seat of learning. Known for its natural beauty, better climatic conditions and a vast network of educational institutions, Abbottabad was ideally suited for such an institution of higher learning in applied sciences.

BANNU CAMPUS

Bannu Campus became operational in May 2002, in the premises of Comprehensive High School at on D.I.Khan Road. The Campus is spread over an area of 120 kanals. This campus was established to increase access to professional education in two disciplines of engineering for the people of southern N.W.F.P. It equips students with knowledge and skills that will enable them to thrive in the fast evolving technologies and to provide relevant training opportunities to those who choose to adopt a career in the field of electrical and civil engineering. In the last three years great strides have been made towards uplift of academic standards and provision of facilities.

MARDAN CAMPUSES

As a result of our growth in the last few years, students were offered an option to get admission in other regions of NWFP. Mardan Campus was inaugurated in 2002 with a spirit to bring engineering education to people at their door steps. The campus is spread over an area of more than 22 acres, including a covered area of 190,000 sq .ft., consisting of an administration block, academic blocks, recreation center, students and faculty housing.
At Mardan we offer two engineering undergraduate program that include Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Software Engineering. All the laboratories have recently been strengthened with the latest cutting-edge equipment. The ever increasing applications demonstrates that student find program offered credible and useful.
