Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) was Formed in 1975 with Preceding Board under Ministry of Education (Pakistan) under Jurisdiction of Federal government of the Pakistan and its Headquarters is located in H-8/4 Islamabad while number of Employees 1600.

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Islamabad is the Intermediate Education Governmental structure in Pakistan and overseas Pakistani schools, with administrative authority to organize, manage, regulate, develop, maintain and control intermediate and secondary education in general and accomplish examinations in the institutions affiliated with it.

Board launched and developed website for enhancing its functionally integrated organizational response emanating from the use of modern trends in the information technology. This appreciable development became possible due to the unremitting efforts and emulation of the FBISE’s own professional experts and other ministerial staff.

Jurisdiction of the Federal Board includes:-
